What have we accomplished this month?
From the very beginning of December, WLS has been extremely busy coordinating many exciting events for the end of the year. On Sunday, December 20th, we held our annual Demo Day event, with over 80 participants! Our students got to show off all the amazing things they learned and projects they created over the past three months, and our Chapter Directors got to talk a bit about their experience so far. What do we want to achieve next year?
Despite having to overcome the biggest challenges in 2020, this year has been very successful for WLS, and we are excited for you all to see everything we have in store for 2021. This year, we expanded to five chapters, and had 105 total students attend all our programs, from over 7 school districts from the Bay Area, and even out of state. We want to start 2021 off on a fun note, and we are excited to announce we will be having our second Guest Speaker event, with several prestigious role models in STEM, who we will announce later in January!
